Here at Drifting Ducks we have been producing unique personalised gifts since 2017.
All our items are thoughtfully designed, carefully created and lovingly packed by partners James & Laura from our little studio set in the heart of the Ribble Valley. We love creating beautiful products to celebrate those special events.
We offer free standard UK delivery & fast dispatch on all items, and all products are made-to-order making them truly personalised and ready to give to your special person.

About Us
We are James & Laura. We met in March 2016 when we both “swiped right” and quickly decided to give up our single lives and move in together later that year. 2 years later, James popped the question in our favourite spot in Cornwall; and after a few Covid related postponements, we finally married in 2023.
In 2022 our pride & joy came along, our fox red Labrador, Dougie. Dougie can regularly be found in our workshop as he is a super spoilt pup & very rarely leaves our sides!
We live in The Ribble Valley, Lancashire and love having the countryside on our doorstep. Our “hobbies” mostly involve eating, drinking and lots of dog walks.
My (Laura) background is in fashion buying, which I did for 7 years. My favourite part of the job was being able to travel around the world, looking for inspiration and working with suppliers to bring ideas to life. I always dreamed of working for myself and applying the skills I’d picked up to my own little venture.
James worked for The FA as a football coach & Team Leader for 10 years. James loved the coaching, but after we met and starting our business in December 2017, he knew this would be where his future lay and was lucky enough to go full-time in summer 2018.
Since then, our little venture has gone from strength to strength and is now both our full-time jobs.
Despite the inevitable long hours, being able to support ourselves through a business that we both love, really is our dream come true; and we are forever thankful to our customers and supporters for helping us get here.
Charity Partnership
Frank Water is an inspiring and impactful charity that is working for a world in which everyone, everywhere has access to enough, good-quality water.
Frank Water was founded in 2005 by Katie Alcott, after she contracted dysentery from drinking dirty water in a village in India.
Since then, the team has provided access to safe water, sanitation and good hygiene for more than 400,000 people in India & Nepal. Closer to home, Frank Water educates and empowers people in the UK to adopt a more sustainable approach to water.
Safe water, hygiene and hand washing has never been so important. We’ve therefore pledged to donate a percentage of our annual profits each year to support their mission. We’re delighted that each sale from Drifting Ducks will go some way to help make Frank Water’s vision a reality.
