We are James & Laura. We met in March 2016 when we both “swiped right” and quickly decided to give up our single lives and move in together later that year. 2 years later, James popped the question in our favourite spot in Cornwall, and after a few Covid related postponements, we finally married in 2023. 

We live in The Ribble Valley, Lancashire and love having the countryside on our doorstep. Our “hobbies” mostly involve eating, drinking and lots of dog walks. Our Fox Red Labrador, Dougie, can regularly be found in our workshop as he is a super spoilt pup & very rarely leaves our sides!

In 2024 we welcomed our long awaited baby daughter, Isla, so life for us now involves juggling nappies, bottles, and running our small business.

My (Laura) background is in fashion buying, which I did for 7 years. My favourite part of the job was being able to travel around the world, looking for inspiration and working with suppliers to bring ideas to life. I always dreamed of working for myself and applying the skills I’d picked up to my own little venture.

James worked for The FA as a football coach & Team Leader for 10 years. James loved the coaching, but after we met and starting our business in December 2017, he knew this would be where his future lay and was lucky enough to go full-time in summer 2018.

Since then, our little venture has gone from strength to strength and is now both our full-time jobs.

Despite the inevitable long hours, being able to support our family through a business that we both love, really is our dream come true; and we are forever thankful to our customers and supporters for helping us get here.
